Dr. Megan Werling grew up in South Bend, Indiana. She graduated with distinction from Indiana University in 2011 with a BA in Art History and Minors in Biology and Psychology, then attended Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated in 2015.
During optometry school, Dr. Werling was an active member of VOSH and participated in two humanitarian trips to Guanajuato, Mexico. She also received the Eschenback Low Vision Student Award upon graduation of optometry school. Dr. Werling is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa academic honor society, the AOA and OOA.
Dr. Werling’s husband Matt works for the University of Cincinnati Foundation. She has a pet Australian Cattle Dog named Dana. Her hobbies include spoiling her dog, painting, being a foodie and going to plays/musicals with her husband.
